Ring in the Oregon spring/summer with Rang Barse at the City of Hillsboro: Fairgrounds Sports Complex in May. This annual event celebrates the Indian Festival of Holi, also known as the Festival of Colors. Participants get two bags of organic cornstarch colored powder imported from India included in their ticket price. A Bollywood DJ will be mixing some amazing tunes for you to dance to and Indian appetizers and drinks will be available for purchase ($1 – $5). Remember to wear white or light-colored clothing so that the colors stand out and arrive early. More than 900 people have attended the event in the past, you won’t want to miss this!
