BEAVERTON, Ore. – The city invites experienced, professional consultants to apply to provide management services for the Beaverton Night Market. The chosen consultant will work with city staff, as well as volunteers from the Diversity Advisory Board (DAB) Night Market Coordinating Committee, to help monitor and direct production of this annual event that happens twice each summer.
Specific Market Manager Consultant duties will include, but are not limited to, creation and management of an overall project schedule, point of contact for market vendors and performers, development and implementation of an outreach plan, performer recruitment, vendor orientations, budget support, day-of event logistics, and after-event support including final reports and evaluations.

Each year, Beaverton presents a multicultural evening of international food and craft vendors, as well as cultural performances, reminiscent of night markets experienced internationally.
The purpose of the Beaverton Night Market is to create a vibrant, intercultural, family-friendly space that offers a culturally-relevant evening activity and gathering space with ethnic food and crafts for families of all backgrounds in Beaverton.
Beaverton Night Market is hosted by the city’s Diversity Advisory Board (DAB) and is an action item in the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Plan. This vibrant, intercultural event is usually held twice each summer at The Round located in downtown, just off the Beaverton Central MAX stop.
