The Oregon Cultural Trust provides critical support for arts and culture organizations in Washington County and across the state.
Just this year, the Trust will distribute a record $3.02 million in grants to diverse Oregon cultural organizations working to restore historic theatres, expand organizational capacity and create jobs, roll out new and innovative programming, connect with more diverse audiences, and create new opportunities for Oregonians to experience the arts and culture that help make Oregon a great place to live.
It’s been a busy year for Trust. They partnered with Travel Oregon to establish the Oregon Mural Trail (with a stop in Washington County’s own Forest Grove), launched a new Technical Assistance Grant program to facilitate the growth and vitality of cultural organizations across the state, and welcomed a new poet laureate.
You can help keep the momentum going and make it another record-breaking year for culture in Oregon. Follow these three easy steps:
- Tally up all the donations you made to cultural nonprofits in Oregon this year.
- Make a matching donation to the Oregon Cultural Trust.
- Claim your donation to the Trust as a state tax credit on your 2018 taxes.
Double the love and double your donation by December 31, 2018!
