Local artists, Martin Conley and Ed Labadie collaborate: Conley’s life-size sculptures in hardwood, pumice and metal, and Labadie’s contemporary abstract watercolors, acrylics and oils. Their works are compatible in concept and style, yet executed in dramatically different mediums. Viewers are offered celebrations of abstract forms, discoveries of subject matter, spatial depth and textures, with outstanding execution in their respective mediums.
Labadie is a highly regarded art instructor and Conley is active in community art, serving on the Hillsboro Arts and Culture Council.
Meet and mingle with the artists on Sunday, July 8, 12 to 2 pm.
