Pacific men take a stand against societal stereotypes…in three-inch heels …
Support the women and men of Pacific University as they bring attention to societal pressures women face.
High heels, make-up, bras – are they really necessary? The average woman spends approximately $15,000 on beauty products during her lifetime. 1 in 10 women wear high heels at least 3 days a week and expose themselves to injured leg muscles, osteoarthritis of the knee, plantar fasciitis and low back pain. Up to 90% of North American women wear uncomfortable push-up bras. The question is, why?
40 men will run, jump, dance and strut in an entertaining obstacle course that puts men in women’s shoes, literally, to bring attention to problems affecting us all.
Fun for a serious cause! All students, faculty, staff and community welcome.
